Engineered Crane Service to ISO 9001 + AS 4024 Plant Safety

Hydraulic flow recalibration · hoist duty-group audits · crawler and overhead crane SWL re-certification per AS 2550 and ASME B30.

Service Tiers Matched to Lift Environments

Plant engineers and EPC reliability leads rarely want a one-size maintenance brochure. Demag structures service scopes around the duty cycle you actually run — indoor overhead bays, outdoor gantry yards, segmental bridge lifts or asphalt-adjacent mobile crane support. Each tier names inclusions, boom or hoist audit cadence, and the documentation pack your engineer of record can file against the next shutdown window.

When you compare Demag crane parts programs with generic aftermarket kits, ask for serial-matched hoist gearboxes, rope-drum certificates and anti-two-block functional test sheets. Our field teams treat demag hoist parts and demag overhead crane parts as controlled inventory, not commodity bins, so MTTR stays inside contracted response windows.

Tier Inclusion Boom / Hydraulic Audit Documentation

Four-Step Service Methodology

  1. 01

    ISO 9001 Service Scope

Lift counts, span meters, hoist speed targets and duty-group hours are written into the service contract before the first site visit. This avoids ambiguous “as needed” language that fails during shutdown planning.

  2. 02

    Hoist & Hydraulic Cleanliness Audit

ISO 4406 particle counts, brake torque samples and gearbox oil analysis establish a baseline. Results feed the demag crane spare parts forecast for the next overhaul cycle.

  3. 03

    SWL Re-certification

Boom pin NDT, jib clearance, anti-two-block functional tests and load-chart pin gauges are executed per AS 2550.1 / ASME B30 — with witness points for your lifting supervisor.

  4. 04

    Reliability Reporting

MTBF, MTTR and hydraulic cleanliness trends are signed by a Demag reliability lead and submitted to the client engineer of record after each service quarter.

Service Boundaries We Disclose Up Front

Duty-group ceiling

Hoist packages rated FEM 1Am / 2m are not interchangeable with continuous 3m steel-mill duty without a gearbox and brake redesign. We will refuse a “drop-in” claim that ignores hours.

Ambient & corrosion envelope

Standard trolley electrics are validated to roughly −20 °C to +45 °C. Desert dust, coastal salt and foundry heat above that band need sealed packages — not a generic demag crane parts kit.

Response geometry

Contracted < 18h MTTR applies inside hub coverage radii. Sites beyond overnight parts lanes receive a stated logistics adder before the service PO is signed.
